Today we’re chatting with Boss Lady Tori Gerbig. Tori is the founder and CEO of Pink Lily. Pink Lily is one of the fastest-growing online women’s clothing retailers in America. Pink Lily brings women an ever-changing assortment of apparel, footwear, and accessories. In 2013 Tori and her husband Chris had their first baby, Jackson. While on maternity leave with no income, Tori noticed the bills piling up. She started experimenting with online marketplaces selling various items to help make ends meet. Her online community of friends quickly grew from a few hundred members to over 10,000 in a short period of time. It was at this moment that Tori realized how passionate she was about building relationships with other women and helping support them through their fashion choices. In 2014, with no capital, Tori and her husband Chris created the online clothing website, Pink Lily.
In this episode we’re touching on the explosive growth Pink Lily has had in the last few years, the learning curve from going from one to 200 employees, how connecting with social media influencers was pivotal to Pink Lily’s success, Tori’s unique style of marketing, and of course, juggling the work-life balance.
