PRETTY and PUNK - Entrepreneur Parents Podcast

Sep 28, 2020

Juliane Corona graduated from California State University Bakersfield with a degree in Business Administration, focusing on Marketing. After she became pregnant, she began researching the benefits of placenta encapsulation and was disappointed to find no one in her area offered the service, so she decided to take matters into her own hands. Juliane trained under another Placenta Encapsulation specialist in California then went on to earn certifications in Bloodborne Pathogens and OSHA’s Safe Food Handling before completing the Placenta Benefits training program. When she founded Mommy Made Encapsulation and started offering placenta encapsulation Juliane worked hard to become an expert in placenta encapsulation, she loves sharing her knowledge, often appearing on T.V., radio, or podcasts, and contributing to articles about the subject.

Juliane joins us today to share why she is passionate about educating women on the effects of postpartum depression and the benefits of placenta encapsulation to perinatal health as a whole. She discusses how her business idea took off and what it's like to work alongside her husband Rick, and details the huge leap of faith they took at the beginning of their journey. Juliane also shares their experience of outsourcing some of the daily tasks and how that benefits the business and their family and why they try hard not to work at weekends to make time to enjoy the small moments of pleasure in life.

"When you start your business don't just go with whatever you think is going to stick to the wall, it has to come from what you are really and truly passionate about - the passion will shine through and you will find success." - Juliane Corona
